Handcrafted Reclaimed Wood Picture Frames
Crafted from reclaimed timber in our solar-powered workshop in rural South Africa.
Frames with a story
For over 25 years, Luna Designs has been creating distinctive picture frames from reclaimed timber. Every frame is handmade in South Africa, preserving the patina, texture and history of the wood from which it was made.
Today our frames are made in our off-grid, solar-powered workshop on South Africa’s West Coast and shipped to homes and retailers around the world.
Handcrafted Frames
Every frame is individually handmade, so no two are exactly alike. The marks, colours and imperfections in the timber make each one unique.
Reclaimed Timber
We give old wood a new life, using timber reclaimed from buildings, furniture and other sources while preserving its original patina and character.
Made with Sunshine
Our frames are made in our off-grid rural workshop in South Africa, powered by the abundant West Coast sunshine.
